Room Use Survey System (RUSS)
RUSS provides building, floor, and room level detail on how space
is allocated in campus buildings. The user can select any building from
a list to display information such as the name of the building, its
four letter code, the year built, and gross area. Users can also select
individual floors to display plans, or select individual rooms to
display data about that room such as net area, departmental
assignation, primary occupant, physical use (office, lab, classroom),
and academic use (instruction, research, library).
RUSS is a prototype application for building executives, and was
developed by the Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies and
Facilities Management.
